What Attracts Us
Tune: High Hopes
What attracts us from year to year,
What is there so special and dear,
Many new gains to make here,
Camp has brought them so near.
Trees and mountains, lakes at their best,
All set here at our summer rest,
Beauty so fitting at Tap,
Mother Nature's unwrapped.
And all those friendships,
Lasting friendships,
Pals so fine made mine
In this setting of pine.
So when a perfect season ends,
And all homeward bend,
Keep those memories so true,
Stop and think what camp days have meant to you.
Clouds may dim a bright summer day,
Problems come and they haze away,
Then days remembered so bright,
Everything is all right.
And all those friendships,
Lasting friendships,
Pals so fine made mine
In this setting of pine,
So when a perfect season ends,
And all homeward bend,
Keep those memories so true,
Stop and think what camp days have meant to you.
What is there so special and dear,
Many new gains to make here,
Camp has brought them so near.
Trees and mountains, lakes at their best,
All set here at our summer rest,
Beauty so fitting at Tap,
Mother Nature's unwrapped.
And all those friendships,
Lasting friendships,
Pals so fine made mine
In this setting of pine.
So when a perfect season ends,
And all homeward bend,
Keep those memories so true,
Stop and think what camp days have meant to you.
Clouds may dim a bright summer day,
Problems come and they haze away,
Then days remembered so bright,
Everything is all right.
And all those friendships,
Lasting friendships,
Pals so fine made mine
In this setting of pine,
So when a perfect season ends,
And all homeward bend,
Keep those memories so true,
Stop and think what camp days have meant to you.
