School's Out
Tune: Georgie Girl (The Seekers)
Schools out, summer’s here
We know that time to leave for camp is near
Each of us awaits arriving at the place we hold dear
Tapawingo, reaching our summer home
Big and little sisters meet at last
Friends are reunited, bunks are set
Our first day has passed, we’re here at last
Sharing together spirit and laughter deep in our hearts
Though in the passing years we’re apart, our thoughts remain
Special traditions here, competition part of every year
Knowing that our thoughts of Tapawingo stay in our minds
We soon will find, we’re no longer there (children who are carefree and gay)
We’re no longer there (children who are carefree and gay)
We’re no longer there (At Tapawingo).
