Memories of my Past
Tune: Sabbath Prayer (Fiddler on the Roof)
Memories of my past years are special
Times that mean so very much to me
Arriving at a place, I've never seen before
And not knowing what to expect (at Tapawingo my new home)
My new camp friends
Have helped me so much (to learn the meaning of traditions at Tap)
Sharing my love with everyone there (life at Tapawingo has just started for me)
As I return to camp each summer
My feelings grow within me deep and strong
I appreciated all
That camp had offered me
But I felt that there was more to Tap (a place that's now a part of me)
Reuniting our friendships so true (the friends we made here last the whole year through)
Growing up and maturing with time (understanding how to live with others at Tap)
Now my camping days are over
I sit and think how much they meant to me
I realize I have gained
What I've been searching for
I hope others do the same at Tap.
