Each Summer
Tune: If...
Each summer brings new life to Tap, a blend of old and new
Tradition sets the frame, each piece is not the same
We are dropped off at our summer home, like pieces from the box
Some parts turned upside down, unsure of what we found
Each girl unique, a fragment of the whole
We’ll work as one, the puzzle’s begun
The edges all smoothed over and the pieces glued with love
The picture that we see, we formed a family
When summer ends, the pieces scatter far, but in our hearts
The picture still remains.
